Totally redecorated in 2008 by a French Designer, this very Parisian apartment is situated in a Listed Conservation Area. It is located in an elegant 19th century Haussmann building on rue des Eaux in the 16th arrondissement in the same street as the "Wine Museum". The Seine River is at the bottom of the street. It is a 3 minutes walk to the Trocadéro Gardens which are located across the river from the Eiffel Tower. Just up the hill is the very lively rue de Passy which is a well known shopping Mecca in Paris. There you will find all kinds of shopping, cafés, bistros and also supermarkets, bakeries, chemists and drycleaning, and a nice open air market.
The apartment has been tastefully furnished with a mixture of family heirlooms, designer furniture and Contemporary Art by a French artist, Marie-Alyette.
This is complemented by the lovely wooden floors, marble fireplaces, high ceilings, cornices and beautiful large windows. There is even a balcony.
There is a spacious living room and the dining room can seat up to 6 people. The separate kitchen has a window facing the courtyard. It is a fully equipped kitchen, which also has a dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. The master bedroom which faces the courtyard has a queen size bed, an en-suite shower. The second bedroom, also facing the courtyard, has two single beds. The main bathroom has two windows facing the courtyard, a washing-machine, a dryer and a built in cupboard.
